"Beauty is Ageless"

Each person has individual beauty, no matter the age, sex or color. I often use a very rotund model for my one night sessions because the full, rounded surfaces are so pleasing and easily sculpted. Musculature and anatomy often are more apparent on a slim body. Older persons develop character and distinctive features. The three-fourth scale sculptures shown here are of white, black and oriental models over sixty years old.

"He Who Dances"

In 1995 A group of members of the Texas Sculpture Association posed for me to create “He Who Dances”. Chase Yarborough was on a slowly rotating central portion of the base and was surrounded by Bobby Gentry, Susan Chasey, Marilyn Louis, Linda Bynum, Kaleta Dooln, Deb Russell and Kathy O’Halloran. It was one of the prize winners that year in the annual TSA show. These are one half life size figures in Hydrostone.

“Parson, Please Bless Our Soles”

This caricature is a play on human portraiture and is intended to be a whimsical piece. Height of busts are eight to nine inches.
