Nipples and Breasts

In the late 1970’s I created several small bronze boxes using tips of breasts that I had molded from a couple of my models. One of my students noted that they looked like flowers. I started a bouquet by making a warm mold and a cold mold of each breast from volunteers. In return, each volunteer received a paper weight created from their donation.

Nipples are as distinctive and different as finger prints.

From time to time I have the opportunity, to mold and have large bronze gongs cast. Great tones!

The collection grew, and the Topiary shown below was exhibited in the early 1980’s in the Dallas Civic Art show and again in 2009 at the Haley-Henman Gallery in Dallas.

I continue to collect from anyone wishing to donate.

I hope to assemble a large field of breast tips to be exhibited in a show or gallery.
